Pharmacological Action: This product is a preparation of lactobacilli, containing not less than 10 million viable lactobacillus cells per gram. When taken orally, it reaches the intestine where it ferments sugars to produce lactic acid. This increases the acidity in the intestine, thereby inhibiting the growth of putrefactive bacteria, preventing protein fermentation, and reducing intestinal gas production.
Drug Interactions: 1. Antibacterial drugs can inhibit lactobacilli, rendering Lactase Life ineffective; 2. Astringents, adsorbents, tinctures, and ethanol can suppress the activity of lactobacilli and reduce its effectiveness.
Indications and Uses: Digestive aid. Used for indigestion, abnormal intestinal fermentation, and diarrhoea in young animals.
Dosage: Use one tablet for every 5-10 kg of body weight, 2-3 times a day.
